Our client is a Chicago-based nonprofit organization that is going through a period of rapid and dramatic growth. Their two person Human Resources group is doubling and they currently seek experienced HR Generalists to join the team. This is a mission-driven organization with dedicated staff and a collegial culture. Their HR group is in the process of acquiring staff from another organization and the immediate needs are for everyone to work together for onboarding, benefits enrollment, training, and HRIS management. The ongoing role, past this critical point, will involve employee relations, leave administration, benefits administration, onboarding and offboarding, and compliance management. This is a remote role that will, post-pandemic, offer a hybrid workweek based on the demands of the week, and will require travel to various sites within the city of Chicago as events, trainings, and open enrollment require.
