JOB SUMMARY:
A Hinger Hanger works on an assembly line attaching hinges and hangs doors onto cabinets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Use air tools, hand tools, jigs, etc…to install doors and assemble fixtures for cabinets
* Use hinging machine to drill doors & install hinges
* Check for quality standards & make judgments
* Use scanning system to verify RFID tags inside doors & fronts
* Read & interpret computer programs to identify & hinge doors
* Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping for yourself and your team
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Ability to identify wood species, finishes, cabinet types, color variances, etc.
* Ability to use basic math concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
* Ability to read and use a tape measurer
Required Education & Experience:
* High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
Required Physical Ability:
* Ability to read print on a computer screen
* Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
* Frequent bending, crouching, pulling & pushing
* Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. & occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
WORKING CONDITIONS:
* Working in an indoor environment with excessive hot, humid, and cold temperatures
* Protective safety gear will be required including safety glasses, ear plugs, and other
* The noise level is usually moderate to high
* Occasional overtime and weekend work, required
