The Fleet Mechanic I maintains and repairs mechanical transportation equipment to aid in the distribution of all company products in a safe manner. Responsibilities:Perform in-depth preventative maintenance inspection and service on all mechanical transportation equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company guidelines.Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment to the desired company performance standards including but not limited to electrical systems, drive train, air, and brake systems, suspension systems, and maintain tires.Interface, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic computerized power trains and vehicle components. Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.Comply with all company work and safety rules and regulatory compliance rules and regulations.Use all personal protective equipment in compliance with OSHA regulations.Possess the necessary personal tools to perform duties.
