Hematology/Oncology Physician- Mass General Cancer Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital - Northampton, MA

The Mass General Cancer Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital exemplifies the future of cancer care in Western Massachusetts. We are seeking a hematology and oncology physician to join a talented team of 5 Hematology and Medical Oncologists, 4 Advanced Practice Providers, 4 Nurse navigators.

This position will be directly employed with Massachusetts General Hospital, but will work out of Northampton, MA. Our ideal candidate will be BE/BC in Hematology and have a clinical interest in malignant and benign hematology.

It takes a coordinated relationship between community hospitals and academic medical centers to create a cancer center where the right approach to care and treatment is delivered to the right patient, at the right time, in the right place. This is where cancer care is headed and why the Mass General Cancer Center is important to the people of western Massachusetts.

Highlights include:

• Call is 1:5
• Full time position with a desirable schedule: 4 clinic days, 1 administrative day per week
• Weekday clinic hours: 8am - 4:30 pm
• 1-hour new consult appointments and 30 minutes follow up appointments

About the organization:

The Cooley Dickinson Hospital, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham, has a medical staff of approximately 500 active members (physicians and advanced practice clinicians). The system is comprised of the Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Cooley Dickinson Medical Group, as well as a VNA and Hospice.
