This outstanding Healthcare Management Support organization is actively interviewing for a Director to oversee Compliance and Accreditation Operations. Join this established health management organization, and help support a huge group of stakeholders, including Physicians, Providers, Clinics, Hospitals, and Health Plans across the Western U.S.

Established over 20 years ago, this Medical Management organization offers comprehensive tools and services to a wide range of healthcare participants including independent physicians, medical groups, hospitals, ambulatory centers, clinic networks, health plans, and payers. The Director of Compliance and Accreditation will play an integral part in developing and supporting this  company’s strategic plan.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Compliance Director will play in integral role in keeping the health plan’s operations running smoothly and in accordance with regulatory requirements. This person will work in collaboration with legal experts, clinical administrators, and health plan product development leaders through a wide range of regulatory scenarios and circumstance. 

This Medical Operations Management organization is looking for a strong, compliance-focused person, with advanced understanding of legal frameworks, healthcare administration models, and internal audit procedures. Working closely with concepts such as the Knox-Keene Act and HIPAA, as well as HITRUST, NCQA, and URAC, the Director of Compliance will ensure that the organization and associated organizations are operating in accordance with complex regulatory structures. For these reasons, strong experience leading and controlling accreditation standards for these conventions.

Fulfilling the duties of this role will require advanced communication and organization skills, as well as the ability to conduct due diligence investigations. The Director will also oversee general administration and corporate compliance, but will also have huge impacts on Quality Improvement Programs. This organization operates in a LEAN / Six Sigma environment, so certification and/or in-depth training with these methodologies is essential.

Beyond maintaining knowledge of applicable Compliance related matters, another large piece of the Director’s role will be conducting audits of the various system-level processes to detect non-compliance and provide corrective measures for any violations. The Accreditation and Compliance Director will make regular reports to executive leaders for the organization, the Board of Directors, and regulatory agencies.
