SUMMARY

Initiate, organize, plan, direct, and monitor all responsible regional functions required to meet Product Group X Business objectives. Deploy global product group strategy within region. regional responsibility for Profit and Loss for Product Group X based on aligned targets with the Head of Global Prodcut Group and the Regional Director.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage short and long-term goals for the organization.
  • Enable and suppport exchange and collaboration among team members and interfacing functions.
  • Maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation with all interfacing parties (customers, suppliers, employees and partners).
  • Definie and deploy methods and tools to develop and lift competences in the sales and marketing functions.
  • Employee development
    • Evaluate, select and develop the right people in the organization
    • Provide direction and manage team, mentor and maintain competent,motivated employees
    • Lead by living the MAHLE Group Leadership Principles
  • Define, manage and implement business process within operational area in line with the Excellence Organization.
  • Responsible for implementing Develop Portfolio, Source Products & Manage Product Lifecycle (C1) regionally within product group.
  • Deploy methods and tools for sales excellence and customer relations.
  • Adhere to organization's policies, compliance regulations and applicable laws.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance to processes and regulations within area of responsbility.
  • Align within and across the region and conduct know-how transfer.
  • Actively support job rotation in alignment with regional and functional directors.
  • Conduct external benchmarking and participate in external industry associations.
  • Drive market intelligence activities regarding market and customer trends, development, legal and political influences as well as competitors' activities.
  • Drive and enable change from "sales drive" mind-set to "profitable growth" mind-set and from single product sales to solution provider.
  • Strive for continuous improvement by developing business opportunities to enhance revenue generation and increase operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical field required.
  • Master's degree a plus.
  • 5 years of experience in the automotive industry and/or automotive aftermarket
  • 5 years of experience in product managment, purchasing, procurement or related field
  • Experience with BU6 Aftermarket, products, sales channels and customers
  • Team player and problem solver
  • Leadership and conflict management experience
  • Strong presentation, communication andnetworking skills
  • Analystical and strategic thinking ability
  • Process and structure oriented
  • Intercultural experience preferred
  • Spanish and/or German language skills a plus
