Shaner has an immediate opportunity at our Fairfield Inn and Suites located in Plant City, Florida. We're conveniently located just off I-4 and County Line Road, offering quick access to area attractions and events, such as the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Lakeland's SUN 'n FUN fly-in expo and the Detroit Tigers' spring training at Joker Marchant Stadium. Our hotel offers 87 spacious rooms, free daily shuttle service within 12 miles of the hotel, complimentary breakfast every morning, a well-equipped fitness center and outdoor pool and hot tub.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
• Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
• Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
• Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness. Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints. Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
