PCSI is looking for a Grounds Support Equipment Mechanic at its San Antonio (Camp Bullis) Site! We are searching for a motivated, friendly team member to perform mechanic and repair duties. The right person will have a proactive attitude and takes pride in their accomplishments. This position will report to the Project Manager.

Shift: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Friday, some Saturdays

What You'll Do as a Grounds Support Equipment Mechanic:

• Diagnoses malfunctions and repairs while advising and training staff on how to repair less complex maintenance problems.
• Studies drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics to properly inspect and solve repairs issues.
• Use automated maintenance data systems to monitor trends and analyze equipment requirements.
• Use digital multi-meters and hand tools to diagnosis and repair equipment.
• Maintains external fuel and grounding systems while performing regular maintenance, inspections, and tests to ensure serviceability and proper operations.
• Services equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, refrigerant and compressed air to diagnose mechanical and electronic circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test equipment and publications.
• Repairs components and accessories in accordance with waste and hazardous material local and federal environmental standards and regulations.
• Prepares equipment for storage and mobility deployment; and operates, cleans, inspects and services towing vehicles.
• Maintains and update electronic equipment records, also provides dispatch services including positioning equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations.
• Ensues tool control, flying object damage prevention and always adheres to safety standards.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have at least four years' experience servicing and maintaining grounds equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and climb ladders. Frequently required to kneel, squat, bend, and reach.
• Required to be able to lift 75lbs up to 10 times per day.
• Requires ability to use hand tools, power tools, and equipment required for installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Self-starter, able to work with minimal direction and supervision.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to pass criminal, drug, financial, and driving screening.
• Possess valid driver's license and maintain good driving record.
• Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
• If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
