Pennoni is currently seeking a Graduate Landscape Architect to assist on multi-discipline public & private site development projects while based at our office in Philadelphia, PA. This position will primarily support Project Landscape Architects with the development of design, permitting, and construction plans (for both land development and municipal projects).

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare land development documentation.
  • Review landscape plans and coordinate planning services.
  • Contribute to the preparation of site plans, grading plans, utility plans, stormwater management reports, erosion and sediment control plans, construction details, and applications.
  • Perform limited field inspection (as needed).
  • Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed.
 

 

Basic Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture (or a related field of study); recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to working on greenfield / land development projects is a plus!
  • Experience contributing to large-scale master planning projects (especially with developing detailed construction plans as well as site / grading / planting plans) is a plus!
  • Proficiency with MS-Office 365 (e.g.:  Outlook, Excel, & Word) is expected; exposure to relevant design & CADD software tools (e.g.:  AutoCAD Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Cloud, LandFX, etc.) is a plus!
  • Working knowledge of modeling programs (e.g.:  Sketchup, Lumion, and/or Revit) is a plus!
  • Working knowledge of ArcGIS is a plus!
  • Ability to work in an energetic & challenging environment on a variety of projects.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
