SUMMARY:
Responsibilities will include assisting in federal and state government relations efforts, such as monitoring hearings, news release distributions, attending meetings and Tyson sponsored events, helping prepare briefing packets, updating distribution lists, maintaining TYPAC charts and other responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university; Political Science major or related field preferred.

Experience: None required.

Computer Skills: Knowledgeable of Excel, Access, and Word & PowerPoint.

Communication Skills: Strong communication skills.

Special Skills: Be able to work 35 hours per week; ability to multi-task; motivated, self-starter.

Supervisory: None

Location: In-person in Washington, D.C.
