Description: Our client is currently seeking a GNC Controls Lead

Title: GNC Controls Lead

Location: Palo Alto, CA or Denver, CO

Type: FTE/Direct-Hire

Location: onsite in Palo Alto, CA or Westminster, CO

Salary: $200-$260K (depending on experience)

• Running every aspect of this project from cradle to grave
• Must be broad and deeply specialized in this skill set. Will need to Transform, lead and drive this product. Will need to get buy in from other managers.
• This is going to be a Mechanical to technical transformation
• Using Agile
• This person should be more than an SME on CMG (Control Moment Gyroscope)
• This is around satellites

Particular expertise is required in the cradle-to-grave development, integration, test, and operation of transformative capabilities

• The GNC Controls Lead will serve as the senior technical leader for the program replacing reaction wheel technology with CMGs, directly accountable to the chief engineer.
• This role will partner with the Systems, Software and Assembly, Integration & Test Engineering teams to drive consolidated engineering development deliverables while ensuring maximum team ownership, accountability, and efficient execution
