YOUR ROLE
US Mortgage Insurance (USMI) seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A professional who strives to be part of a high-performing team of finance professionals to help lead financial analysis. Reporting to the Sr. Director of FP&A, this finance professional will display exceptional analytical skills by accurately forecast and analyze financial data. The ideal candidate will show rapid professional advancement and clear achievements thru financial analytics and problem solving. This role will regularly present results and findings to the Sr Director of FP&A and Senior Leadership at USMI. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
*Forecast and analyze Premiums and identify relevant factors impacting performance through collaboration with the Pricing, Risk and Accounting teams,Including Rate, Volume, Mix Analysis
* Partner with USMI Controllership to present monthly and quarterly results, analyze business drivers and financial performance, and support financial statement closing process.
* Create presentations explaining business results, variances, and forecast changes to FP&A and Finance leadership with excellent communication
* Continuously improve work product and processes with focus on automation, efficiency, and expanding the technology impact to loss analytics
* Train to become an effective backup across all core FP&A roles

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
* MBA or MS degree in Finance/Accounting/Business
* At least 7 years of Finance / FP&A experience

* Proven financial model capabilities utilizing Excel
* Detail oriented with strong analytical abilities
* Proficiently work with large data sets to draw conclusions and summarize findings
* Proven communicator to senior leadership as well as to non-Finance audiences
* Continuous process improvement mindset
* Ability to execute under aggressive deadlines
* Respond quickly and decisively to changing circumstances

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience forecasting revenue
• Preferred experience with Tableau, SAS, and Financial Modeling software
