SUMMARY

The Foreman position is a critical role for the company. This individual will be responsible for managing up to ten person crews. The Foreman will also demolish old HVAC systems, repair aging HVAC systems, and install new sheet metal product for heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. This individual will also be responsible for lifting, hanging, and installing sheet metal duct, supports, rig and set equipment. They will work on ladders, lifts and will handle material up to 50lbs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties will likely be assigned.

  • Be responsible to enforce safety rules, plans, attend job meetings, fill out required paperwork meet schedule and budget
  • Measure and mark dimensions for field installation
  • Drill holes for screws, bolts or rivets
  • Install sheet metal with supportive framework
  • Field fabricate or alter parts to meet site requirements
  • Maneuver and anchor large sheet metal ducts and parts
  • Fasten joints of duct together for a complete heating cooling and ventilation system
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • This person will regularly travel to site in NC, SC, and GA.
QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • 2 + years' experience as a Sheet metal Foreman.
  • 5 + years HVAC Sheet metal and installation experience.
  • OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 Certifications desired
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and documentation.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and city construction regulations and guidelines.
COMPUTER SKILLS
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, and other mechanical, technical, or construction programs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to commute to field locations. The employee must have the ability to navigate around job site locations.
