Summary of Duties:
Under general supervision , the incumbent provides fiscal support using independent judgment in the interpretation and application of a variety of rules and procedures in the field of financial research administration. The incumbent prepares automated or manual recurring fiscal reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance) and local policy; creates and administers low-complexity awards; supports fiscal analysts in work for higher-complexity awards; ensures compliance with grant and/or contract requirements; notifies appropriate personnel of actions needed as issues arise; prepares financial reports analyzing, interpreting and summarizing data in accordance with the specific sponsor's terms and conditions; and prepares awards for fiscal and administrative closeout and archive.
