Meta is seeking to fill the position of Finance Program Manager with a focus on Treasury/Tax/Accounting initiatives. The role will be within our Finance Transformation organization and will be responsible for planning, leading and executing on global, cross-functional, enterprise-wide projects that impact the Finance organization. We are seeking a detailed, motivated, solution-oriented individual that can work well with internal and external partners at all levels. The ability to think critically to plan and execute effectively while collaborating across teams and locations will be key to success. Currently, this role will focus on Tax and Treasury related projects/initiatives, but a well-rounded Finance professional is preferred as prioritization of projects could and likely will shift the focus of this role, as needed.We are seeking a seasoned professional to work closely with Finance and supporting technical teams to drive process and system capabilities and improvements that enable scale. This leadership role is accountable for partnering with a large variety of cross-functional stakeholders to optimize finance processes, systems and controls with an eye to modernizing foundational tools used by the finance and broader community to enable scalable solutions to support business growth, enhance our internal controls and mitigate financial risks. The ability to think critically and plan and execute effectively while collaborating across teams and locations will be key to success in this role. Finance Program Manager, Treasury & Tax Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the work of other Project Managers (this could be FTEs, CWs, and/or Consultants depending on the prioritization of projects and associated resources)
  • Run projects and meet milestones on time and on budget
  • Determine business roles and resources needed to ensure successful implementation
  • Appropriately staff project teams with the right skills and resources and set clear expectations
  • As needed, own the sourcing/contracting/spend and engagement with external consultants
  • Partner with Treasury, Tax, Accounting, Engineering leadership and other key functional leaders to understand their objectives, technology roadmaps, and process changes to develop a transformation roadmap based on prioritized initiatives
  • Plan and drive programs of significant complexity by independently planning, leading and executing on projects with other cross-functional teams globally
  • Ensure appropriate sponsorship and align stakeholders around initiative goals
  • Establish communications cadence to ensure appropriate program governance
  • Influence decision making & problem solving across projects and teams
  • Proactively manage program risks, trade offs, critically evaluate and anticipate potential issues and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to meet broader organization goals, milestones, and objectives
  • Develop concise and compelling business cases for proposed projects
  • Prepare detailed analysis, plans, milestones, deliverables and overall status updates for projects
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships, maintaining effective communication channels


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 12+ years of experience in project management, accounting, finance, and/or system implementation/design, with an emphasis on Tax and Treasury
  • Experience working and influencing in a cross-functional global environment and with all levels of employees


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, CPA or advanced degree in Finance, Business/Economics, or IT
  • PMP certification (or equivalent)
  • Experience designing and implementing business processes and systems based on business priorities
  • Experience thinking strategically and manage ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and priorities
  • Proven track record of influencing decision making and problem solving with senior leadership
  • Experience with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Experience delivering quality communications, including development of key messages
