Job Summary
The Field Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing laboratory automation equipment at customer sites. The individual will serve the following areas:
- Minneapolis, MN
- Chicago, IL
- Indianapolis, IN
- St. Louis, MO
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides on-site installation and repair of SARSTEDT, Inc.'s laboratory automation line.
- Creates and submits complete service reports to the end-user and Service Manager.
- Maintains proper inventory of required parts and tools for repair work.
- Arranges and coordinates travel plans based on customer needs.
- Demonstrates and explains correct operation of equipment to customers.
- Other duties may be assigned as apparent or required by management.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
