Position type: Contract
Duration : 6 months
Location: Onsite - Bothell, WA
As a Facilities Technician II you will:

Principal Responsibilities
This role is responsible for work related to

  • Managing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs with specific duties supporting the irrigation system, snowplows /spreaders, trucks maintenance/ repairs, roof maintenance & leak repair, and maintain the lab gas distribution repair & maintenance that exceed expectations.
  • This position will provide Building & Utility On-call support and you will maintain relationship with property management for repairs as needed for the Facilities Management group of the Real Estate & Facilities (REF) organization.
  • Arranges for the patching and painting of facility walls as required to maintain a neat and clean appearance. Maintains plumbing and drains in good working order.
  • Responsible for providing and maintaining appropriate signs and tags for all facilities equipment and office areas.
  • Replenishes and maintains up to date inventory of Facilities department parts storage and other areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Provides "on call" response to facilities, building systems alarms on a rotating basis, in conjunction with other Facilities Department personnel.
  • Oversees installation of furniture and building fixtures, as well as modifications and additions to existing furniture arrangements as required to support changing needs of staff, in addition to personnel moves, additions and changes.
  • Coordinates or performs changes or repairs to electrical & mechanical systems in facilities as required.
  • Coordinates or performs surface maintenance as required to keep facilities in good condition.
  • Responsible for scheduling maintenance of Company vehicles.
  • Assists with the coordination of preventive maintenance of building systems.
  • Responsible for facilities service calls and in-house repairs throughout company facilities and grounds.
  • Responsible for the implementation of preventive maintenance of equipment, enrollment program and for the tagging of equipment.
  • Responsible for organization and stocking of parts inventory for the Facilities Department.
  • Maintains accurate record and stock of all keys in the facility.
  • Participate in Emergency Response Team as needed.
  • Basic repairs to door locks and crash bars
  • Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years industry experience performing equipment maintenance and basic mechanical or electrical work.
  • Introductory and annual refresher GMP Training
  • Introductory and annual refresher GLP Training
  • Ability to work in a laboratory environment.
  • Must be able to lift 30 to 50 pounds and routinely work from a ladder.
  • Specific OJT for each building system as assigned
  • All FA-Category SOP's

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $35/hr - $41/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
