YOUR ROLE

  • Actively supports and enforces the plant SHE standards, coaches' employees and maintains a safe, hazard free workplace
    Evaluates equipment problems, recommends solutions, implements appropriate actions, and documents issues / resolution information
    Prepares economic evaluations and justifications for new equipment, performs monthly project reports, and leads project meetings.
    Coordinates with Maintenance contractors, Logistics, and Manufacturing personnel to the installation and/or adjustment of equipment
    Troubleshoots equipment and process issues to identify root cause, recommends improvements and supports implementation of root cause elimination
    Cradle to grave project management including scoping, estimation, design, project submittal, procurement, construction, commissioning, equipment trials, testing, process development, generation of operating procedures, and training of operations/maintenance.
    Performs field walkdowns to verify accuracy of P&IDs, corrects P&ID drawings via red-line markups, and collects equipment nameplate data for documentation into Process Safety Information listing
    Maintains the integrity and dependability of all support systems including the following: boilers, air compressors, chillers, electrical, HVAC, cooling towers, ventilation & hot oil system
    Provides technical leadership for the sites' PSM (Process Safety Management) programs including conducting PHAs (Process Hazard Analysis), Mechanical Integrity Program, Process Safety Information, etc.
    Capital Project Execution including installation, implementation, start up, training, Pre- Start up Safety Reviews (PSSR), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), LOTO Procedures, As-built documentation, and finally project closure documentation
    Supports plant sustainability and lean initiatives such as 5S, TPM, Problem Solving, etc.

YOUR SKILLS

  • BS/BA degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering required
    Minimum five years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
    Aptitude with computer systems especially email, database entry, and Microsoft Office proficiency
    Demonstrated experience with CMMS maintenance management systems preferred (especially with SAP)
    Problem solving ability and critical thinking skills required
    Troubleshooting experience with process industry equipment such as pumps, mixing equipment, instrumentation, control valves is preferred
    Experience with Siemens PCS7, Allen Bradley, Foxboro, and or Rockwell operating systems preferred
