What you will do
Under general supervision, facilitates and expedites the flow of materials to and from JCFS departments and project sites. Deals directly with vendors to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods and coordinates returns and credits. Receives instructions on new assignments and assists in resolving difficult situations.
How you will do it
- Effectively communicates priorities with all parties to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods;
- Interfaces with all departments and resolves problems and issues with needed purchase items; and contacts vendors with discrepancies for resolution;
- Interacts with suppliers regarding damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, over shipments, cancellations and changes. Coordinates credit utilization with Accounts Payable;
- Maintains accurate receiving, return, and credit records in Costpoint;
- Provides general accounting services to the Accounting team as assigned.
What we look for
Associate degree in Business Administration, a related area, or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in business related field is desired. A minimum of two or more years of purchasing/receiving experience required. Two or more years in general accounting/finance experience is highly desired. Demonstrated analytical and communication skills-both written and verbal. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs. Deltek Costpoint experience desired.
