ETL DEVELOPER: STAMFORD, CONNECTICUT
Join our client's dynamic team in Stamford, Connecticut as an ETL Developer! At The Select Group, we're seeking a talented individual who thrives in collaborative environments and possesses a passion for data manipulation and analysis. This role offers the opportunity to work onsite and engage closely with cross-functional teams.

ETL DEVELOPER MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• Expertise in Teradata and Redshift data platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with unit testing and test case documentation.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, coupled with excellent organization and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with relational database management and working with fact and dimension database approaches (e.g., starSQL databases).

ETL DEVELOPER NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

• Previous experience with Teradata to Redshift migration.
• Background in cable/telecom industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with outage management, network topology, hybrid fiber coax networks, etc., is advantageous.

ETL DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and fine-tune IT solutions, encompassing coding, testing, debugging, designing, and implementing newly developed tools.
• Research and plan solutions for existing company problems, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes.
• Build online analytical processing (OLAP) systems and work extensively with relational and multidimensional databases.
• Manage projects and personnel within the IT department or across the organization.
• Serve as a problem solver, utilizing ETL expertise to mine data and present insights in an understandable manner.
• Create tables, generate reports, and translate complex technical concepts into accessible language for stakeholders.
