Description:

The job role for ETL Data Integration - Software Engineer is primarily responsible for designing & developing Talend DI data integration solutions. In addition, the role would involve translating business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. The job role is also responsible for developing, configuring, or modifying complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments. This individual also facilitates the maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions and ensure successful deployment of released applications.

The job role involve implementation of ETL solution, systems integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), Support Production live and handle feedback. The job role expects to work in an Agile and product management way of software development.

Core Responsibilities

• Apply ETL technologies to design & develop high available and high resilient solutions to integrate data from various on-prim/cloud applications

• Make use of latest technologies and architectures to translate business requirements and automate operational tasks resulting in reduction in cost of operation

• Closely working with business/Solution teams to understand business requirement and able to translate into technical solution

• collaborating cross-functionally to solve business problems; identifying and monitoring priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicating progress and information; identifying, recommending, and implementing ways to address improvement opportunities.

• Provide front line support to the business users with the custom applications usage

• Analysis, Debugging and troubleshooting of integration issues for the business

• Explore and enforce best practices of development and operation

• Analysis of infrastructure capacity and regular updates

• Supporting DevOps technologies across the environments

• Expected to work with minimal supervision

• Stakeholder communication about SLA of Application Availability

• Ensure high System & Application Availability

• Fixing Data & Load issues

Required Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or comparable job-related experience

• Strong experience in designing, development and testing of ETL solutions using Talend DI

• Strong knowledge of Linux Scripting and SQL

• Candidate with knowledge of modern technologies like Python, Spark, Hadoop etc. will be preferred

• Should have experience in working with business/solution teams

• Should have experience in ETL solution life cycle comprising of Requirement gathering, Development, Design, Test, Deploy, moving data to and from Mainframe DB2 sources into Oracle and Teradata, Data warehousing tools and skills including data management, database support, SQL, ETL and OLAP concepts

• Strong communication skills with learning attitude

Required Skills

• Primary Skill- Talend DI, Linux Scripting, SQL

• Optional - Hadoop, SPARK, Python/Scala/Java

• Data Structure - XML, JSON, HTML , Parquet

• Databases - Teradata, DB2, Oracle, Casandra, Mongo DB

Software Engineer - Expertise Needed

• 5-7 years of experience in ETL/Data Integration solution Development experience using Talend DI and should have complete application development life cycle

• Must have good experience in writing & debugging Linux scripts

• Should have good hands-on experience of SQL
