We are looking for an Environmental Laboratory Assistantto work at our Stafford, TX location (Houston Metropolitan Area).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist the laboratory analysts with the preparation of environmental samples.
- Prepare samples from processing
- Observe, track, and record sample characteristics (including color, texture, shape, size, smell, density, weight, temperature, etc.)
- Compare sample to standard model to quickly assess basic quality of sample
- Test samples and confirm that they conform to industry standards
- Ensure sampling instrumentation and tools are clean and in a workable
- There will be training in specific techniques, that include manual processes and the use of scientific tools and instrumentation
Position is full-time, Tuesday - Saturday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., with overtime as needed which include weekends.Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Stafford, TX are encouraged to apply.QualificationsBasic Minimum Qualifications:

- Good verbal English language skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to move around, stand for long periods of time, sit for long periods of time, squat and lift up to 50 lbs.
