Overview:

THIS POSITION CURRENTLY HAS A $3.00/HOUR BONUS IN PLACE FOR 2021. 

 

Responsible for coordinating all technical applications and personnel within the Entertainment Department, oversees the operations of all theaters and productions, supervises company managers, manages special event operations. Also assists the full time manager in the development of in-house productions.

 

This position is year round!

 

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

How You'll Make A Difference:

• Interviews, hires, trains, and manages stage managers within stage show area. Assists in coordinating and structuring annual auditions and interviews to staff shows and areas with the appropriate talent and technical support.
• Coordinates the hiring of the performers and technicians for the individual shows and area including the preparation of contracts, approving conflicts in associate schedules and travel riders.  Coordinates rehearsals for all shows and entertainment areas.
• Oversees the maintenance of technical and performance quality throughout the season. 
• Coordinates and implements department handbooks for supervisors and line associates.
• Coordinates, staffs, supervises, and oversees budgets for several special events during operating and non-operating days.
• Facilitates weekly meeting with supervisors. 
• Reads, reviews, and communicates information submitted by area managers to appropriate personnel. Solves interpersonal problems and evaluates individual situations, while representing the park and department's disciplinary policies and procedures.
• Evaluates area supervisors and reviews all line associate evaluations within the show; walks around entertainment areas of the department
• Monitors attendance for individual shows and entertainment areas; responsible for scheduling and changing schedules. 
• Uses problem-solving skills to troubleshoot potential problems and finds solutions for issues in all show and entertainment areas in order to run the entire department more efficiently.

We're Looking For:

• Must be 18 years of age or older. 
• Ability to demonstrate a strong background or general knowledge of all theatrical elements including technical and performance.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. 
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. 
• Ability to pass a background check, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
