Enterprise Engineering Engagement delivers internal end-user technical support that drives productivity at Meta. We are a dynamic, diverse and globally dispersed team of IT professionals. Our mission is to unlock every individual's productivity. We are seeking a technical resource to diagnose complex technical issues impacting users across Meta and to design or influence the design of solutions across technical teams and partners.Successful candidates will have a broad and deep technical background to draw from; the ability to build strong relationships at all levels and influence teams is critical; is a self-starting, intellectually curious, and creative individual comfortable with operating in ambiguity.

Enterprise Operations Support Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Build partnerships across multiple cross functional teams and functions to ensure Engagement strategy and priorities are met
  • Provide operational context to leadership across teams and offer key input for strategic decisions
  • Serve as a key Enterprise Operations Point of contact for cross-functional & organizational partners collaborating on joint efforts
  • Provides direct input into cross-functional/Organization strategic vision, scoping of requirements, implementation, and incident response
  • Intake high priority initiatives
  • Build matrixed cross functional teams
  • Influence direction and timelines
  • Ensure minimal impact to end users
  • Lobbies and wins resources
  • Serve as Security point of contact for the Engagement organization
  • Provide peer leadership and expertise over a broad operational area, acting as an escalation point and technical leader, proactively addressing service and process gaps as they arise while building long-term solutions to address them
  • Diagnose complex technical and business problems and implement creative solutions
  • Identify large scale problems and propose solutions
  • Drive delivery of technical solutions
  • Build technical programs that enable Engagement strategy
  • Ability to travel within the US and internationally. Up to 25%


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge to use data and analytics to support decision making
  • 8+ years experience in support & troubleshooting Linux, Windows & Mac OS platforms including mobile devices running Apple iOS & Android OS flavors (IC7 10+)
  • Experience guiding/implementing security policy and procedures
  • Dedicated, interest and experienced in a matrixed IT organization, keeping pace with Facebook's explosive growth
  • Effective business acumen and working knowledge of applications/business processes
  • 5+ years experience creating and driving technical programs
  • 5+ years experience in advanced user facing support position(s)
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS or equivalent technical work experience
  • Experience to synthesize business and technical needs across locations and drive solution delivery
  • Experience managing issue resolution including prioritization on time sensitive problems and escalations with corporate
  • 5+ years of experience in supporting one or more IT infrastructure areas such as Hardware, Networking, Firewalls, Active Directory, LDAP, DB fundamentals, and backup/storage


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading teams/Senior ICs
