Engineering Co-Ops

Hendrickson Truck Commercial Vehicle Systems located in Kendallville, IN is a IATF certified OEM and aftermarket supplier of proprietary suspension systems to the heavy transportation industry. We seek individuals for a rotational opportunity as a Co-Op. This opportunity includes rotation over 2-3 semesters in the areas of Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Elastomers. The position will start work full time during the Fall semester 2021 This is an excellent opportunity to gain understanding in multiple areas of engineering.

Primary responsibilities may include: time studies for machining/packaging, work with shop floor employees to resolve engineering or safety related issues, assist with equipment/process troubleshooting, CNC program control files, upgrade of computerized maintenance management systems, completing Operator Detail Sheets (ODS), FEMA's, Control Plans and 8D corrective actions.
Requirements for the position include a minimum GPA of 3.0 and sophomore status.
