Nordson Adhesive Dispensing Systems (ADS) sets the global standard in hot melt machines and dispensing, coating, and laminating systems. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Design, and other Test Engineers to determine the testing requirements, schedule, architecture, and cost of test equipment.
  • Design and implement, either working alone or as part of a team, high quality production test processes for circuit boards, control systems, and mechanical or electro-mechanical systems.
  • Participate in product design reviews to ensure DFT principles are followed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to increase test efficiency and effectiveness or reduce product cost.
  • Conduct test data analysis to identify areas for product and manufacturing process improvements.


Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering. Other comparable engineering degrees may be considered.
  • Programming experience required.
  • Familiarity with electrical CAD software preferred.
  • Experience using SQL and Microsoft Office tools preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and SolidWorks experience preferred.
  • PLC programming experience preferred.
