Job Description:

Are you looking to help the Department of Defense (DoD) identify emerging technologies that might help develop the future joint force and our nation's civilian workforce? As an experienced professional, you know that innovative technologies offer a range of applications that may influence future military and civilian capabilities. As a member of the Civilian Harm Mitigation Response (CHRM) team, you will: (a) conduct detailed analyses of emerging technologies that may have military and/or civilian significance; and (b) identify game-changing technologies with commercial and defense applications in development outside of U.S. Government-funded initiatives for further investment. To support your analysis, you will research new technology services and solutions that enable strategy development, requirements determination, organizational analysis and design, and innovation adoption. You will develop and analyze functional specifications, and coordinate with developers to build and implement technology solutions; design efficient technology systems that meet organizational and strategic priority needs; devise and provide technical training, remain aware of technology trends and developments, and make suggestions to client and team.

Work with us as we help the DoD invest in the next set of emerging technologies. Join us. The world can't wait.

  • Knowledge and understanding of current, emerging, and deep future Science and Technology (S&T) and "big data" trends and solutions relative to civilian protection.
  • Knowledge of defense technology areas.

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering field.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience working in conflict zones with international partners, allies, multinational forces, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and/or foreign governments.
  • Experience in S&T and/or Technology Scouting fields including knowledge of firms with innovative and emerging technology solutions.
  • Experience in the application of future technologies in military warfighting concepts and operational environments.
