As a Precision Farming Embedded Software Engineer, you will become a contributing member of a team, focused on the development of Auto Guidance and GNSS embedded software applications that run on CNHi's next generation embedded controllers. The software you create will control various functions of CNHI tractors, sprayers and harvesters and enable wide range of Auto guidance features.

• Develop software applications for vehicle navigation, guidance, and automation, specific to precision farming applications in off-road vehicles that use ISOBUS (ISO 11783), Universal Terminal and Task Controller communicating with industry standard CAN protocols and using tools such as VECTOR CANalyzer
• Participate within an Agile-based software development team and collaborate with cross functional product design teams developing various Precision Agriculture features
• Utilize software tools and electronic instruments to troubleshoot and debug embedded system
• Perform Code optimization and refactoring
• Develop software unit testing and work with systems-level integration testing teams to develop system level regression and automated tests

This position pays:83,500-120,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing & developing embedded software from concept to release.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Electrical and/or Software Engineering performing analysis, design, and testing for embedded software projects
• Experience with C or C++ programming languages
• Experience with Linux OS (Ubuntu)
• Experience with precision farming technologies like ISOBUS (Universal Terminal and Task controller), satellite geolocation technologies, route management and vehicle automation
• Experience Model Based Software Design, preferably Mathworks (Simulink/Stateflow/Real-Time Workshop)
• CAN (Controller Area Network), SAE J1939 communications experience
• Experience working with Automotive, Agricultural, Construction or Commercial Vehicle products
