International Snubbing Services, LLC is currently seeking an Electrician for the Arnaudville Louisiana location. This position maintains all electrical components of the HWO and Snubbing Units and associated equipment as described in the Critical Function Test process. Ensures that all electrical components on newly built equipment go through the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and meet the appropriate codes.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Maintain all electrical components of the HWO and Snubbing Units and associated equipment as described in the Critical Function Test process.  Ensure that all electrical components on newly built equipment go through the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and meet the appropriate codes.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts scheduled and unscheduled maintenance (CFT) on all electrical components.
  • Test rig lighting panels prior to each job mobilization.
  • Maintains, cleans, and keeps tools & equipment in an orderly manner, including cosmetic appearance.
  • Ability to work on 120V to 480V 3 Ph controls and components.
  • Make service calls to rig sites to make electrical repairs.
  • Ability to read technical documentation including wiring schematics and specifications.
  • Maintains current technical knowledge of government and company policies, codes, and regulations
  • Responsible for following safety procedures.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Permit to Work (PTW) process.
  • Read and understand electrical schematics.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School degree with a minimum 5 years' experience and/or training as a qualified electrician
