Location: Yuba City, CA
Salary: $70,000.00 USD Annually - $85,000.00 USD Annually
Description: The Judge Group has partnered with a manufacturing in the Yuba City area to find a Safety Specialist for their team. This role will grow into a manager role in the future!
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Understanding of Federal/State environmental and OSHA laws and regulations to ensure all local, state and federal regulatory requirements and permits are being met and implemented
- Develops and conducts safety training for employees
- Assist in the incident investigation process to ensure incidents are investigated and root causes are identified
- Monitor site metrics and conduct report outs of metrics to the plant management team
- Help maintain a safe and healthy work environment across the plant in all departments for all personnel
- Ensure all programs, policies, and guidelines are followed by all team members and provide any updates to these programs and policies in accordance with government policies
- Provide continuous safety education and training to all employees along with leading new hire orientation through safety training
- Provide regular reports to corporate safety team
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of Safety Experience in manufacturing
