Full-time/Permanent Employee

Location: Beale AFB, CA

The proposed salary range for this position is $80,000-$108,500. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.   • Performs cyber threat analysis and reporting on information from both internal and external sources and applies gathered cyber threat intelligence to defending the enterprise network
  • Demonstrates knowledge of incident response processes (detection, triage, incident analysis, remediation, and reporting)
  • Supports Cooperative Vulnerability and Pen Test Assessments (CVPA) and Adversarial Assessments (AA)
  • Executes Incident Response actions, initiates AF Incident Response forms
  • Performs in-depth analysis of potential intrusions and reports ticket
  • Leverages various toolsets and methodologies to perform Insider Threat defense
  • Uses OSR/intelligence reports to search ArcSight Logger for any for any potential threats
  • Creates Serena tickets for security issues and or misconfigurations
  • Performs information protection functions for applications within the AF DCGS that are in the DCGS lab environment.
  • Responsible for testing the AF DCGS network, applications, and products for ease of unregulated entry, system resource denial, information corruption, unlawful use of resources, vulnerability to electronic disruption
  • Documents and reports system attacks/vulnerability reports

  • Clearance: TS/SCI
  • Years of Experience: 3 to 10 Years with degree.
  • Education: Bachelor's (BA/BS) or Master's (MA/MS)Degree and 3 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, some time with the DoD is preferred
  • Substitution: 6 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree plus 4 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. 12 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree

  • Security+ CE Certification (or other IAT Level II or III Certification)
  • Ability to perform all functional duties independently
  • Responsible for assisting more senior positions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel if required

  • AWS or Azure certifications
  • RMF process experience
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Experience consulting directly with military customers
