Job Title: Transport Driver - Lube Current Class B license and X endorsement REQUIRED.

Job Objective: Operates various trucks to deliver petroleum, lubricant, and related products, both bulk and various package styles to Company-owned and customer sites. Is responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of his or her vehicle, within Company policy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This is a full-time position with a local route and specific schedule. In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operation.

  • Following route and time schedule.
  • Loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting and operating a delivery vehicle.
  • Record fuel and oil gallons in fuel logs and turn in accurate and legible fuel logs at the end of each shift
  • Following DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Acting in accordance with the company's code of ethics and safety policies.
  • Maintaining a good working and professional relationship with all drivers, dispatchers, and management.
  • Taking care of company trucks and equipment.
  • Turning all required paperwork and documentation in timely, legible, and accurately.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Current CDL Class B w/Tank & HazMat endorsements REQUIRED
  • Minimum of 1 year's verifiable CDL experience
  • Must have valid DOT Medical Card.
  • Verifiable clean driving record. Both of these must be kept current
  • Must be able to drive in safe and reliable manner under any conditions.
  • Basic mechanical skills will be needed and used in the logistics of loading/unloading and maintenance.
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and delivery orders.
  • This person must be able to read, analyze and interpret business, safety, and professional documents, as well as government regulations.
  • Will be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide as well as understand and calculate volume, weight and percentages. Other basic math skills may be required.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service
  • Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures

  • Lifting small weighed objects constantly; 20 pound objects frequently and 50 - 100 pound objects occasionally
  • Climbing ladders, stairs and ramps
  • Balancing, pushing and pulling
  • Crouching, kneeling, reaching and grasping objects
  • Walking: move about inside the office and/or branch facilities as well as airport/travel needs
  • Sit/Stand: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 percent of the time
  • Capable of traveling as required

Attendance Requirements: Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory, including arriving at the time scheduled. This is an 8 hour, Monday - Friday, 7 am - 4 pm position.
