Responsibilities will include:

  • Create 3D models for new and existing products
  • Creates 2D engineering drawings for new and existing products.
  • Responsible for product engineering document control
  • Creates and distributes engineering change notices (ECN).
  • Maintains product data in Microsoft D365.
  • Assists in product development
  • Assists in developing new and making changes to existing packaging
  • Close working relationship with the engineers, product managers, and production team
  • Daily interaction with purchasing, sourcing, and operations personnel

Requirements

  • 2-year Technical Degree in mechanical engineering, 3D CAD, advanced mathematics, and industrial arts.
  • 2 to 4 years experience with Autodesk Inventor (or equivalent) in a product engineering environment.
  • Degree of mechanical and/or artistic aptitude.
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering procedures, factory operations, and product application.
  • Must have excellent analytical, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Able to work both alone and as a team
  • Self-directed and able to adapt to changing priorities while working on multiple projects.
  • Meet deadlines on a consistent and regular basis.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
