Job Description Summary:
What you need to know about the role:

This role will focus 80% Vendor Management and 20% Workforce Planning- which will entail procuring and sourcing new suppliers for the BITS org. working closely with Global Souring, Legal, HR, etc along with ensuring we have the most optimal workforce strategy putting the right people to the right work with the right skillsets.

Our org, the Paypal Office of the CIO - Supports all of the BITS organization to provide cross-functional consistency and alignment of processes, standards and business operations.

You will have the ability to:

  • Work across the broader organization to affect change by providing cost efficiencies, cost savings, etc

  • Manage a team of 5-7 driving our vendor management and workforce planning initiatives.

  • Influence up, down and across different levels of employees and stakeholders - lots of visibility to Sr. and Executive Leaders.

  • Influence the role building processes, standards and ways of working that will be utilized across the company. as it pertains to vendor management.

Your Day to Day:

***80% Vendor Management, 20% Workforce Planning and Management***

  • In Your Day to Day You Will:.

From a Vendor Management Stand Point you Will (80% Of Role):
  • Partner with the Global Procurement Team to develop forward-thinking improvements that advance PayPal's ability to optimize our supplier management capabilities and bring visibility to supplier performance and selection that promotes inclusivity (i.e. consideration to vendors from Under Represented Communities.

  • Manage and optimize our vendor supplier relations, including performance, escalation, and processes.

  • Manage supplier contract negotiations to ensure cost competitiveness and risk mitigation.

  • Support the management, monitoring, and mitigation of third-party risks

On the Workforce Planning end, you will (20% of Role):

  • Responsible for reporting, forecasting, and optimizing BITS global team of employees and contingent workforce.

  • Develop and execute a total talent strategy (Full time and Contingent Workers) for the BITS organization, including budget planning and forecasting and location strategies with an emphasis on data.

What you Will Need to Bring:

  • Strong understanding of procurement and sourcing driving contracts

  • Negotiations and/or contract management

  • Strong data analysis

  • Strong ability to drive work to completion - while adapting to a quickly changing environment

  • Strong Business Finance Administration and Information Systems Educational Background and or combined experience

  • Substantial People Leadership skills- This Role will manage a team of 5-7.
