About the Role

The Product team at Walmart Connect (WMC) is comprised of three core groups: Product Management, Product Operations and Product Marketing. We work closely with the WMC business, engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders to conceptualize, design, launch and scale our core platforms and experiences. The director of product analytics is a new role reporting into Sr Director of Core product platforms. In this role you will

• Serve as thought leader and trusted advisor to Product leadership and the larger product management / product marketing team by working with them through the entire product lifecycle from discovery, A/B testing and post launch insights and learnings
• Demonstrate proactive, solution-oriented leadership -- you are always ahead of what's coming next, you solve problems in and outside of your core area, you are comfortable saying no to request that do not help inform key decisions/ priorities
• Proactively identify product opportunities within and beyond product ownerships areas through a hypothesis driven culture and data driven deep dives
• Build and scale product analytics team from ground up to inspire through data and deliver product analytics deliverables across all WMC product areas
• Responsible for organizing and assembling the resources, technology, and processes to support the product analytics needs of Connect's product/ product marketing teams
• Have an intimate understanding of various data sources and how to organize and utilize them to deliver critical insights to the broader organization

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing teams of individual contributors in Product Analytics, Data Science, or equivalent field
• 10+ years of professional experience in Product Analytics, Product Management, Data Science or equivalent field preferably for a consumer facing, engagement based, digital product
• Extensive, hands-on professional experience with AB experimentation and regression modeling
• BA/BS or Graduate degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• Highly motivated, proactive and able to solve diverse problems efficiently
• Inspiring leader with high expectations of your performance and your team
• You are comfortable providing specific feedback when needed and have track record of cultivating high performing teams
• Excellent written and communication skills; Can lead communication and collaboration with a diverse group of Senior cross-functional partners and with the Executive Leadership Team
• Proven history of decision making excellence and cross-functional influence through insights
• Proven experience of scaling and leading large teams

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Science , or related field and 6 years' experience in analytics, product management, or related area OR 8 years' experience in analytics, product management, or related area.
4 years' supervisory experience.
