Your Role:

The Marketing Director for HIV will report to the Head of HIV & Endocrinology and will be responsible for the brand marketing strategy and execution plan in the US, including 1) Direct HCP strategy and engagement plan 2) HCP non-personal promotion, 3) sales force integration and 4) PSMR Chair.

  • Lead brand marketing strategies including the brand plan development and tactical planning processes, SD and other financial and programmatic reviews as required
  • Lead the planning, content development and execution of POA strategy and meeting development to support field promotional efforts as needed.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for responsible programs and track progress thru regular analysis
  • Supervise and coach the Sr Project Manager HIV Marketer
  • Manage the development and execution of specific HIV and Endocrinology brand initiatives, programs and tactics, including but not limited to development of the content of promotional materials/programs that correspond with the TA's positioning, key messages and overall brand strategy to help achieve TA operating plan and market share goals
  • Maintain contact with field sales leadership/representatives and customers to solicit feedback, generate insights, and develop targeted tools and programs that address unmet needs
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop national Community and KOL strategic plans and tactics as part of the annual brand planning sessions; drive planning for field team Community and KOL strategy and execution-collaborate with Sales Leadership
  • Create speaker's programs across Endocrinology as needed
  • Build advocacy by developing and utilizing on label, Legal and Regulatory approved materials in an appropriate fashion with community based organizations and advocacy groups
  • Work closely with field team to ensure resources are created and utilized to help HCPs identify appropriate patients
  • Serve as a primary liaison between customers and the company by identifying customer needs and developing and successfully executing on a plan to address those needs.
  • Plan, schedule, and lead conference activities as required to ensure activities are compliant with company policies and guidelines as required
  • Use market, reimbursement, formulary, managed care, customer and distribution knowledgeto strengthen current loyalist positions and expand new loyalists.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with other departments and with the global teams to achieve specific marketing goals as well as to achieve overall company goals.
  • Manage Monthly Finance Operating Expense tracking and SAP procurement transactions, maintenance and reconciliations including processing of contracts/quotes, obtaining signatory authorizations/approvals, SAP Purchase Requests & Monthly Service Entries for assigned projects/initiatives.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10 to 12 years related marketing experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry or equivalent experience in a consumer and/or professional marketing organization with increasing magnitude of responsibility. Also, experience managing, leading and developing people preferred
  • Experience managing vendors and contractors
  • Experience managing a marketing budget
  • Previous pharmaceutical sales experience a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to demonstrative creative and innovative strategies for business development
  • Ability to access and influence various functional areas and motivate groups to actions through team building initiatives
  • Leadership skills in a matrix, and/or co-promote environment
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to translate medical information into succinct and impactful marketing messages
  • Collaborative work style and familiarity with core operating function (sales, marketing, regulatory, legal, medical, global marketing and co-promotion partners)
  • Ability to work in a high functioning, fast-paced, global business environment
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task and have superior organizational skills

ADA Requirements:
  • Normal and routine office duties
  • Willing to travel up to 30%; some international travel may be required
