Description: Our client is currently seeking a Director of Manufacturing/Procurement
Location: Georgetown, TX
Duration: Direct Hire

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Utilize effective Sales and Operations Planning to balance demand and supply to achieve cost, schedule, quality, and performance targets for all demand streams.
• Identify and lead strategic initiatives and best practices that shorten time to market to ensure effective cash management.
• Ability to develop strategic frameworks, to identify critical issues, to develop analysis and formulate recommendations
• Build and sustain organizational capabilities and capacity for planning, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and customer service processes to enable efficient operations and unrivaled satisfaction for all internal and external customers.
• Develop, measure and deliver operational excellence via implementation of continuous improvement methodologies through fact-based decision making. Utilize defined and measurable metrics, KPI's, analytics, Lean, and Six Sigma.
• Assist in designing and optimizing manufacturing facilities.
  
• Responsible for procurement, production and logistics demand and supply up to $20M annually. Leads a total staff of approximately 25 people including seasonal temporary labor.
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in business or Technical related field
• Experience: 10+ years in manufacturing leadership position with significant experience leading teams. 5+ years ERP systems experience (IFS, SAP, JD Edwards, or others)
• Licenses/Certifications: Lean and Six Sigma. Upon hiring will need to maintain Railroad certifications.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• International experience; in one or more of the following: Canada, Mexico, Europe, India, Brazil, Australia, and/or China
• Experience in Manufacturing with a focus on Design Build
• Focused on continued learning, with an ability to become a subject matter expert on Loram LTI's current and developmental products and services
• Exceptional presentation and strategy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with dynamic requirements and deadlines
