Director of Corporate Partnerships

As part of the expanded vision of the Kevin S & Sandra E. Delbridge Career Center, the Director of Corporate Partnerships will cultivate and deepen relationships between WNE and corporate partners in order to increase internship, job and other career related opportunities for students, as well as assist organizations with their professional development needs.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, and sales/goals driven, and possess the ability to build meaningful relationships.

Past sales and/or fundraising experience strongly preferred.

Master's degree preferred.

Willingness to travel to organizations for meetings as needed to establish and maintain relationships with corporate partners.

Essential Job Functions:
* Establish and expand corporate partnerships by promoting WNE, WNE students and WNE programs, enhancing brand awareness and establishing WNE as a premiere resource for workforce development in the Springfield, MA area and beyond.
* Understand current workforce needs in terms of professional development, upskilling and educational gaps/opportunities.
* Promote the professional development opportunities, educational and certificate programs at WNE, that can provide organizations with the tools needed to improve employee engagement, retention, and upskilling.
* Work with the organizations and the University to create specialized programs that meet an organization's specific professional development needs.
* Work with University faculty, staff, alumni and others as needed, to create a menu of ongoing professional development programs that will meet organizations' general workforce upskilling and training needs.

* Determine pricing models for professional development and related programs.
* Advance other University priorities that rely on corporate relationships.
* Increase job and internship opportunities for our students, create mentoring and shadowing relationships with various corporate and community organizations.
* Identify opportunities for significant revenue growth for corporate engagement and communication.

The Director will also:
* Develop, track and report on metrics of effectiveness in outreach efforts.
* Prepare and route any MOU's or TOA.

Hybrid work week allows for days in on-campus office, days from home and days for travel to in person meetings with corporate partners; both are required of this position.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES:
Sales-metric driven.

Knowledge of computer systems, word, spreadsheets, graphics, social media, outlook and database maintenance.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment.
Flexibility to work occasional evening or off-hours to accommodate events.
