Description

Under the leadership of the SVP, Sales Operations, this position is responsible for our customer's digital experience (CX) through providing technical project planning, management, training and oversight for all existing technology initiatives and new implementation projects, ensuring that these initiatives and projects are embedded in Sales priorities across the operation. The position will ensure the optimum mix of cost, schedule, performance and system supportability throughout the design, development, testing and evaluation of each existing and potential new application.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop timelines, protocols, utilization guidelines, and content for the implementation of new Customer Experience applications as well as maintenance of existing platforms
  • Proactively ensure that software is kept up to date, tech support is adequate and manage system integrity for all sales applications
  • Deliver value by working with developers, IT and support customers, sales representatives, etc. with application issues
  • Maintain and manage key metrics - Pricing, Refusals, Out of Stock, etc.
  • Promote the company's sales applications both internally and externally by bringing a broader awareness, use and understanding to our platforms
  • Manage key interactions with Suppliers/Vendors, Sales Personnel, Pricing & Purchasing Departments, and Customers, to maximize the efficacy of all sales technology applications
  • Develop and Execute on-going site training for key constituencies including but not limited to Sales Representatives, Divisional Leads, Management, Internal Customer Service, Warehouse and Customers
  • Develop, Maintain, Collaborate, and Execute content to keep all sales applications relevant, engaging, and fully functional for the end user
  • Coordinate, Collaborate, and Develop synergies with Martignetti Social Media Department with respect to visual appeal and relevance
  • Prepare and present reports showing ongoing usage, growth, and utilization of sale applications to broaden usage
  • Responsible for the following integrations:

- Sales Coordination: Product, purchasing, pricing, programming, third party accolades

- Other Integrations Include: Credit; Supplier Communication; IT; Graphics; Marketing/Communications; Social Media; Content Development; Warehouse Operations

- Order Tracking, Delivery Schedules; Customer Service

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Exceptional project management, organizational and time management skills with the ability to react to changing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to large groups and executive teams
  • D2C and e-commerce experience
  • Excellent ability to build relationships with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and be accountable for results
  • Ability to handle time sensitive initiatives
  • Ability to learn in-depth brand and product knowledge
  • Social Media and Digital Marketing skills and awareness
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, with some skill in one or more of the following: Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, HTML and Photoshop
  • Competency with a leading e-commerce platform such as Magento, Shopify, Commerce Cloud
  • Self-motivated, team player who is enthusiastic and a high achiever
  • Familiarity with Beverage Alcohol sales, products, route to market, etc. preferred
  • Familiarity with Massachusetts On and Off Premise Customers preferred

Education/Training/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 3-4 years of marketing, D2C and ecommerce experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years of direct experience in the ecommerce sector
  • Integration and Project Management experience with software development projects
  • Experience working with outsourced teams/vendors
  • Previous experience managing software development or software implementations

Physical Demands and Environment:
  • Work performed requires or no measurable physical exertion, may be required to lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Work is performed in a normal office sitting with intermittent standing or sitting as determined by the incumbent
  • Work requires a significant level of mental concentration required to manage multiple complex tasks requiring continual mental and visual focus
  • Works in a normal office environment
  • Minimal potential for injury in the performance of duties
