CUMULUS MEDIA | Corporate has an immediate opening for a full time Digital Technical Project Manager to support the Corporate Digital Team. The Digital Technical Project Manager is an integral part of the entire digital initiative.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of mobile and web-based project development for our digital platforms including content management for station and podcast websites, mobile app development, order management for digital products, data integrations, podcasting and smart speaker integrations
  • Manage technical projects for various internal departments at Cumulus Media (including but not limited to programming, sales, creative) in conjunction with external partners to execute upon key operational improvements
  • Ability to run projects from RFP to launch maintenance and all steps in between including managing the business requirement-gathering process, daily / weekly stand-up calls, tracking open issues and resolution and communicating with all parties to make sure projects runs smoothly, on time and on budget.
  • Responsible for technical training materials for any project
  • Other duties as technical projects arise

Able to translate between technical requirements and programming/client needs in order to facilitate project success.

Teamwork -- Able to show team spirit and treat team members with cooperation and respect; able to solicit feedback from all project team members and in turn, share it in a useful way with team members; able to support team members' project needs; able to help resolve team conflicts.

Information Seeking -- Able to gather information and differentiate essential from nonessential information; able to identify key sources and ask relevant probing questions; able to systematically obtain data through research.

Problem Solving -- Able to separate problems into components; able to recognize relationships among problem components, separate causes from effects, and identify root causes; able to use analytical techniques to generate solutions and their consequences; able to explain complex problems; able to identify extra steps to overcome obstacles.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Agile certification and/or PM certification highly valued
  • At least 4 years of experience in managing projects, 2 in a senior position
  • Interest in all aspects of the production cycle
  • Adaptive of when it comes to the shifting landscape and culture of the organization
  • Experience within a media company preferred but not required
