RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to join their team onsite in New York, NY. This role is 100% onsite 5 days a week.Summary:The IT Analyst role reports directly to the local regional IT Manager and is responsible for first- and second-line IT Support alongside a Senior IT Analyst. Due to the requirements of the role, it is a requirement to be in office 5 days a week. This primary responsibility and focus of this role are to work on delivery of our laptop fresh process.The responsibilities are:- Keeping accurate records on assets deployed, to ensure accuracy reporting
- Building laptops following company standard process
- Contacting employees to arrange device swap outs either on location in our Orlando office or arranging courier delivery or pickups for devices
- Keeping a stock of returned devices and records, arranging regular uplifts for disposal
- Ensure consistent quality of ticket logging, communication and fast resolution of issues, following ITIL standards
- Responding to service desk requests logged via a global ticketing system (ServiceNow)
- Assisting with company employee issues as a second line of support
- Maintenance of Windows and Apple laptops
- Physical and remote installation of software
- Remote help with accessing the company externally
- Liaising with vendors to arrange repair/replacement of printers, laptops and audio visual equipment
- Provide general desktop support to user base, BAU via phone, email, and desk side
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting printers, room booking systems, Android devices, iPhones & iPads
- Client Executive silver service
- Client Town Hall IT/AV support
- Server room clean-up and upkeep, including cabling
- Managing the client workstation inventory for the local region
- Leavers laptop collection and tracking
REQUIREMENTS:
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
