We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 60+ labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are hiring a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Lord’s in DePere, Wisconsin for a Dental Lab Technician I (Fixed Prep). Previous experience is not necessary; we offer paid, hands-on training!

The regular hours for this position are from 9:00AM to 5:30PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. 

This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement!  

 

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions of the Position:

  • Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
  • Place completed computer work cards on proper case pans, reviewing doctor, product and finish date information for correctness
  • Pour models from impressions received from doctors in the proper material
  • Number all models and impressions with case number
  • Pindex models and place pins in dies
  • Saw out dies using proper technique to make dies removable for fabrication
  • Place models on appropriate type of articulator using correct technique
  • Articulate models by using bites sent by doctor or hand articulating to correct bite relationship
  • Check case for correct doctor information, finish date, product, metal type and fabrication questions that need to be called on the next day
  • Clean work area daily
  • All other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities Required: 
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Detail oriented
  • Patience for repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work closely with others and share equally in the workload
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Flexibility in dealing with varied work hours due to fluctuating work loads
Minimum Education and Experience Required: 
  • Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • No experience required

  • Bard parker knives
  • Steamers
  • Acetone
  • Die separator
  • Accelerator
  • Glue
  • Die hardener
  • Lathe
Physical Requirements:
