<h3>Key Accountabilities:</h3>


<li>

<li>Coordinate DBA activities and mentor team</li>
<li>Provide thought leadership responding to database outages in critical client-impacting situations</li>
<li>Plan and manage maintenance windows</li>
<li>Lead Database design and help developers in leveraging database schema and structure</li>
<li>Lead multiple infrastructure planning and implementation including; instance strategy, technical platform selection, architecture design, backup, and recovery strategy</li>
<li>Lead\Perform script maintenance on existing monitoring scripts and automate everyday tasks with the team</li>
<li>Lead\Design database backup and recovery plan and strategy based upon business data retention and data recovery specification</li>
<li>Monitor systems and proactively manage and maintain configurations to ensure performance, availability, and stability</li>
<li>Utilize Visio to create new logic paths and data flows for a project</li>
<li>Develop and maintain ETL processes</li>
<li>Development of SQL procedures, triggers, views, functions, and reports to support enhancement to critical SQL-based business systems</li>
<li>Analyze, troubleshoot, and remediate data integrity issues</li>
<li>Reviews &amp; recommendations for solutions that require the definition of databases&#39; physical structure, functional capabilities, data security, data backup, and recovery specifications</li>
<li>Lead\Performs scheduled backup, index defragmentation, and when necessary, restore operations</li>
<li>Identify and transform business requirements into logical data models</li>
<li>Analyze system performance to plan for capacity management and scalability</li>
<li>Provide database assistance and problem support to application developers, business analysts, and business users</li>
<li>Conduct research and prepares recommendations for database tools, software, and/or hardware requirements</li>
