Description: Our client is currently seeking a Data Privacy Technical Analyst.

Work Type: Temp to Hire (contract to permanent)

Worksite Location: Remote work but must be willing to travel to NJ main office at min 1X a year

Immigration/Visa Requirements: must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder)

Job Responsibilities:

The Data Privacy Technical Analyst who will be reporting to the Manager of Data Privacy & Regulatory Compliance, the Data Privacy Technical Analyst position is a critical role in supporting compliance with technical parameters as it pertains to regulated data requirements. This involves working with teams across the organization, understanding and assessing regulatory and industry compliance requirements, providing support using internal and compliance technical tools with the overall responsibility to ensure IT Security compliance requirements are met.

An understanding of IT Security controls, industrial & the fundamentals of regulatory compliance and internal & external audit processes/engagements is key to this role. Overall proficiency in information security technical requirements, risk remediation plan development, and technical expertise in our masking and scanning tools.

Ideal candidates are seeking entry into the data privacy field and will have a willingness to learn and ability to adapt to a continuous changing regulatory landscape. The Technical Analyst role will be supporting a program with high visibility and forward-facing interaction with all levels of business & IT.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline
• 2 - 5 years of hands on experience with data masking and scanning technologies across multiple platforms
• Experience with the Informatica application TDM & DPM is required
• Experience with the application, ServiceNow is strongly preferred
• Experience with Oracle application's Audit Vault and Alerts module preferred, but not required
• Demonstrated experience with PowerShell and shell scripting is required
• Must demonstrate broad technical skills across IT and competency in Information Security disciplines

• Familiar with GDPR, NY DFS, CPRA/CCPA, PCI DSS and other regulations preferred
• IT project management skills strongly preferred
• Proficient understanding of information security risks, controls, cost effective risk mitigation techniques

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

• Required: High-Speed Wi-Fi and Headset/Mic

• Willing to travel to NJ main office at min 1X a year

• Able to work Eastern Time zone as needed (if not located in Eastern region)
