SUMMARY:

The Analyst is responsible for learning, understanding and executing the delivery of work for our internal and external customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

  • Executing and monitoring production data and data exchange related processes timely and conscientiously.
  • Effectively supports projects/teams in order to produce desired results.
  • Responsible for communication of results and/or issues per team standards.
  • Assists with implementing standard policies and procedures for providing routine service.
  • Assures that corporate compliance is communicated, implemented and monitored on an ongoing basis.
  • Initiates troubleshooting and/or appropriate notification of issues timely.
  • Monitors status of normal production processes as well as progress of issue resolutions
  • Shifts focus between clients and/or processes throughout the day to meet production needs.
  • Balances incoming requests with previously scheduled work.
  • Assists personnel, both internal and external, by answering questions and supplying information
  • Develops and maintains an effective working relationship with internal and external customers.

EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Continuous learning, as defined by the Company's learning philosophy, is required. Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.

EXPERIENCE:

One year experience in a related field, typically in at least two of the following areas is preferred: financial analysis, planning, health care economics, health care policy, statistical modeling, business decisions, analysis, or business management. Experience in healthcare is preferred.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:
  • Strong analytical, planning, problem solving, verbal, and written skills to communicate complex ideas.
  • Intermediate SQL Server/Transact SQL skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and direct the efforts of others.
  • Strong knowledge and use of existing software packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently, within a team environment, and communicate effectively with employees and clients at all levels.
WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards.
