Position Summary

The Data Analyst is responsible for tracking Moderns performance against KPIs, analyzing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts, analytical reports, dashboards, and helping senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports. This position is based out of our corporate headquarters in Lewiston, NY.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports, which include key metrics and variance reporting.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization.
• Work cross-functionally with company executives to inform, set, and drive company strategy through data and insights.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets.
• Improve tools and reports to aide in decision-making processes.
• Assist in undetermined projects and reporting across all functional lines of business.

Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree, Statistics, Economics, or Business Management preferred
• 1- 5 years of work experience in a data analysis role.
• Ability to perform advanced statistical analysis and mixed-method data collection and analysis.
• Must have a strong work ethic; do what is required to meet deadlines
• Ability to interface effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently
• Competency in the following computer programs: Word, Access, & Outlook and advanced experience in MS Excel.
