Customer Success Manager

The position of Customer Success Manager is a new role to Hypertherm. We are excited to share this opportunity with you because it is the first role that we have around customer success/end user experience in combination with the global software initiative. The Customer Success Manager role is part of a high growth area of the Hypertherm business.

As our new Customer Success Manager, you will:


  • Proactively ensure customer onboarding process is completed, including commissioning software solutions, and directly upskill or coordinate customer training.

  • Accelerate value delivery to customers, develop and maintain relationships and increase customer advocacy.

  • Communicate value to customers through formal and informal means. Serve as an effective liaison between sales, technical support, and applications to increase customer satisfaction. Maintain a high degree of Hypertherm CAD/CAM Software and mechanized cutting applications knowledge.

  • Provide feedback to continuously improve existing processes. Influence organization as an early adopter of new process, technology, and tools.

  • Engage team in professional cross-collaboration, including completion of testing and validation required by Business and Functional teams.

  • Coordinate and execute renewal, recapture, and expansion campaigns.

  • Collaborate with Sales team on key and strategic account development, focusing on health, adoption, and expansion.

  • Enjoy working with a diverse group of people in a challenging market where no two days are the same.


Who you are and the experience you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years industry experience or 7-10 years sales or technical experience.

  • Experience training and troubleshooting software products.

  • Proven capabilities on consultative selling and process improvement.

  • Strong competency in Sales process fundamentals.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with CRM software. Strong computer skills (MS Office /MS Teams).

  • Independently motivated and self-starter.

  • High level of critical thinking.

  • High level credibility with peers as a Peer Leader/Team Player.

  • Spanish speaking - required.


Preferred experience that differentiates you:

  • Experience with subscriptions / ecommerce management software.

  • Fluency in English with French or Portuguese as a 2nd language.


Location: Remote/Home Office Geographically located in the United States to manage territory effectively.

Travel: 10% to 20%
