This position will be responsible for supporting the sales team in managing customer growth opportunities within the mass and GDC channel for licensed sports apparel as well as Champion branded categories. The position will be responsible for supporting accounts with administrative tasks as well as sales analytics and performance and inventory/assortment management. This individual must be analytical, a self-starter, a collaborator, a good communicator and have a strong desire to learn the business.

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Senior Managers and Director of Sales to develop, formulate, and drive strategies to meetidentified account needs and objectives.
  • Individual needs to have deep passion for learning. Must have the ability to be analytical and creative in order to think outside the box to be a solutions provider.
  • Gain an in-depth knowledge of retail partner data sources and perform analysis including sales, inventory, productivity, etc. to identify business building opportunities.
  • Manage Hot Market Event process and orders (March Madness, College Football Playoffs, College World Series, etc.)
  • Generate and distribute weekly POS reports for entire Licensed Sports Apparel organization.
  • Handle administrative tasks including but not limited to maintaining seasonal balance sheets, order submissions, pricing adjustments, return authorizations, item setup and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot issues/opportunities to ensure successful execution of programs and completion of objectives.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal cross-functional teams.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Education/ Experience:Bachelor's degree with 3+ years relevant work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree
  • Preferred Education/ Experience:Master's degree with 1+ relevant work experience
  • Minimum 1 year of sales, retail buying, or marketing experience; apparel industry and/or CPG experience preferred but not required
  • Strong computer skills - database and spreadsheet tools, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Financial Acumen; understanding of retail math and scorecard drivers, and be able to manage analytics
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability as a "thinker", a "strategist" and a "problem solver"
  • Understanding of the Team Sports environment a plus
