With the guidance of the Sr. Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, and leveraging NetSuite, Clarizen & Salesforce.com data, this position will support internal stakeholders with forecasts, models, and reports specifically focused on Waystar's Software as a Service (SaaS) recurring revenue. Individuals in this position are expected to develop a broad knowledge of Waystar's business, industry, and operations in order to support analysis and decision making at all levels of the organization. What you'll be doing:

• Conduct revenue specific financial analysis, modeling, and reporting.
• Enhance forecasting detail through additional model drivers (for example, strategic pricing, customer retention, etc)
• Prepare, analyze, and explain variances to forecast and plan on a customer and project level. Coordinate analyses with implementation teams to improve forecast accuracy.
• Prepare and analyze the rolling revenue forecast and annual operating plan
• Clearly communicate results of analyses to all financial stakeholders
• Prepare presentation materials for management presentations and board meetings
• Provide analytical and reporting support to senior executive team on ad hoc basis
• Enhance business insights and reporting by leveraging PowerBI
• Develop and implement new metrics of business, financial, and operational performance
• Maintain in-depth understanding of the events and offerings within the healthcare technology market

What we're looking for:

• Assurance or related experience at a big four accounting firm
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, or similar concentration or equivalent experience
• 3-7 years of similar work experience, title and compensation dependent on candidate's level of experience
• A passion for personal development with a desire to become a subject matter expert on Waystar's business and developing analyses in Excel and PowerBI
• Strong understanding of financial metrics, accounting concepts, and US GAAP
• Experience modeling SaaS based businesses, or other recurring revenue businesses preferred
• Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required with a keen attention to detail
• Self-motivated individual with ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks and assignments
• Demonstrated success delivering outcomes under significant time constraints
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required; experience developing data models in PowerPivot and PowerBI preferred
• Experience working with Salesforce.com & Clarizen data preferred
• A desire to work in the Louisville office at least 4 days a week
