Overview
The Corporate Admin Intern is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses - are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.

Job Details Facility: WCO - Wellstar Corporate OfficeJob Summary:The incumbent will utilize advanced statistical knowledge in data management and analysis to support research and publication activities. Activities include collaborating on data collection methods, medical writing, and the application of appropriate statistical methods for data analysis. The intern will utilize statistical software to systematically analyze various types of data.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:Conduct literature research in collaboration with research teams across the system. Utilize current literature to determine key components of the study design including power, sample size, etc. 25% Perform data analysis and simulations on research and operational data sets. Provide written summary reports of findings and methods. 50% Present project work to internal and external stakeholders. Provide recommendations on statistical significance, data extrapolation and conclusions. 25%
Required Minimum Education:Bachelor's Degree Required and
the candidate must have completed at least 2 years (masters level) of course work or and be working on a thesis Required or
dissertation toward a master's or doctorate in statistics, biostatistics or data sciences from an accredited college or university.

Additional License(s) and Certification(s):Required Minimum Experience:evious work experience or coursework in the use of software packages for data management and statistical analysis Required
Required Minimum Skills:Proven clear and concise written and oral communication skills are essential.
Uses effective presentation and meeting techniques (agendas, time management, etc.).
Strong computer experience necessary.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to think logically and evaluate alternative solutions in problem solving required.
Previous experience with SAS, SPSS, R or equivalent platforms required.
Proven competency to work independently preferred.
